We're pleased to announce that we'll be partnering with Associate Professor Nicolas Suzor of Queensland University of Technology on a new research project that seeks to build consensus on a practical set of guidelines for best practices in transparency for content moderation practices.

Over the course of the next year, we will work with Associate Professor Suzor and his researchers on a review of the most common demands from users of social platforms, collected in the course of Onlinecensorship.org's research. We will then identify specific measures for intermediaries to improve the experiences of users who have experienced content removals. We will organize a series of workshops over the next year to produce a prioritized list of specific recommendations for companies.

We're thrilled to be undertaking this project and welcome your feedback. As always, if you have experienced a content takedown or account suspension, please fill out our survey.
